A man in Muntinlupa stabbed his parents with a piece of glass on Saturday, killing his mother and wounding his father as they were reportedly on their way to have him checked by an albularyo. Initial investigation by the local police of Muntinlupa City revealed that Arnel Corres, 32, was walking with his parents in Barangay Tunasan on Saturday night when he suddenly picked up a piece of glass and started stabbing them with it. His mother Sonia, 54, was killed in the attack, while his father Adimo, 52, was wounded on the arm. Authorities are currently looking into the possibility of illegal drug use as being a factor in the incident. "Sasampahan po natin siya ng parricide doon sa pagpatay niya sa kaniyang nanay, at attempted parricide naman doon sa pagsaksak niya sa kaniyang tatay," Police Senior Inspector Reynaldo Marcella said in an exclusive report on GMA's "24 Oras." — Jon Viktor D.
