Seems like Jeff Horn will have to wait for a lucrative showdown against Manny Pacquiao after Amir Khan announced on his social media that a deal has been reached to fight the Filipino boxing icon on April 23. A former stablemate and sparring partner of Pacquiao, the 30-year-old Khan is coming off a knockout loss against Mexican slugger Saul Alvarez in May last year. Earlier this month, Pacquiao asked his fans on social media who they want him to fight next. Khan emerged as the top pick on the poll, then negotiations took place soon after. Initial discussions suggested that Pacquiao could face Jeff Horn in Australia, but a contract was never signed and thus the prospective bout didn't come to fruition. —ALG, GMA News
